Stephanie McMahon Says She Has ‘Never Seen An Athlete Transition So Quickly into WWE’ As Ronda Rousey

Ahead of her match at WrestleMania 34 against Ronda Rousey, Stephanie McMahon recently spoke with Newshub and below are some interview highlights.

On training for WrestleMania 34:

“It is an honour and a privilege to be a part of WrestleMania. I’ve been training harder than I have ever in my life.

“There is a lot of pressure on me and I want to make sure we have an incredible match that over-delivers and that we do everything we possibly can to tell the best story we can.

“When you consider I’m juggling that with being an executive for WWE as well as a mum to three girls, I certainly have my work cut out for me! But I love a challenge and this is certainly a huge challenge, in front of 75,000 people at the Superdome in New Orleans.”

On Ronda Rousey transitioning from MMA to WWE:

“She truly is one of the world’s greatest athletes. She is one of a kind and she can help take us to the next chapter of the women’s revolution,” said McMahon.

“When you consider her start power, charisma and ability to connect with the audience in her promos, she is real and authentic and gives everything she has to everything she does.

“I have never seen athlete transition so quickly into WWE as her in terms of understanding what she needs to do to connect.

“Ronda is one of a kind and we couldn’t be more proud than to have her as part of the WWE roster.”
