UPDATE on Dean Ambrose’s WWE Status After April: Are Recent Reports Incorrect?

The Wrestling Observer is reporting that Dean Ambrose’s immediate future in WWE is perhaps not up for debate as many fans previously believed.

Recent online reports suggested that The Lunatic Fringe had perhaps re-signed with Vince McMahon’s company, due to him being advertised after April of this year. Dean’s contract expires in April and WWE has said that he will leave the company after that.

But according to WWE, Dean will no longer be promoted for any events after the month of April. It seems that Dean is indeed on his way out.

This is surely not what many WWE fans wanted to hear. Roman Reigns recently returned to the company following nearly four months out of action due to his battle with leukemia. Now that he’s back at full strength, the WWE faithful were hoping for a Shield reunion with Reigns, Ambrose and Seth Rollins, which may indeed still happen.

But it definitely appears that even if the reunion dose happen, it will be short-lived.
