Attendance For Wrestle Kingdom 14 Night One

Night one of Wrestle Kingdom 14 is now in the bag and the show was met with resounding praise from fans and critics online. But what was the attendance for the show?

According to the Reddit NJPW Moderator,  @EvanDeadlySinsW, the show drew an impressive 40,008 fans inside the Tokyo Dome. While that wasn’t officially a sell-out, only the outfield seats were left open, which went on sale the day of the show due to the incredible demand for tickets.

Wrestle Kingdom 14 Day 1 drew 40,008 attendees! Not a sellout, but only the outfield seats (that they started selling today due to demand) were the only ones left. That is, all the seats that were originally on sale did sell out. #NJWK14
