New Japan Cup: Quarterfinals set, updated bracket and schedule
The New Japan Cup is down to the final eight after today’s show in Tokyo.
Jay White defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi, while David Finlay beat YOSHI-HASHI today in Korakuen Hall to secure the final two spots in the quarterfinals. They join Will Ospreay, SANADA, EVIL, Toru Yano, Shingo Takagi and KENTA in the third round.
EVIL vs. Yano and Shingo vs. KENTA are set for Tuesday’s Korakuen Hall show, while Ospreay vs. SANADA and White vs. Finlay will take place on Thursday in Shizuoka.
Both semifinal matches will take place Saturday in Sendai, which will also host the finals on Sunday.
