WrestleMania Update: Women's Match, The Rock, Mick Foley, Hulk Hogan, Hardys

— According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE decided to move the Smackdown Women’s Title match back onto the main show at WrestleMania after they timed the show and found out that there was room. It basically came down to either this match or the Cruiserweight title match as being moved up and they publicly are stating that it was due to fan reaction that they picked the women’s match.

— It is unclear whether the Rock or Hulk Hogan will appear at WrestleMania, but both are in Orlando. Hogan is doing some signings on Sunday but his last one is at 5pm whereas the Rock has an off-day on Sunday.

— Steve Austin will not be at WrestleMania 33. He actually stated on his podcast that he’d be watching the show from home. If he ends up appearing, it would be considered a huge surprise.

— Mick Foley is in Orlando and there is growing speculation he will appear on TV at WrestleMania as WWE left him leaving open-ended and he still hasn’t gotten his “revenge”.

— Regarding the Hardys, despite Jeff’s interview recently, they are expected in WWE imminently and it is not out of the question to see them at WrestleMania involved in the Raw Tag Team Title match, especially since WWE has made it a ladder match. Either way, their ROH commitments end today which is a clear sign that they are likely WWE bound sooner rather than later.
