News on Reigns & Braun’s Chances Of Winning The Universal Title

According to backstage sources, the feeling right now is that Roman Reigns winning the Universal Title is imminent and probably likely to occur in Saudi Arabia at the Greatest Royal Rumble Event because it is doubtful that Vince McMahon will book him to lose a cage match. The popular belief seems to be that McMahon has not given up on Reigns but has simply postponed his title win to a later date.
However, there seems to be a chance that McMahon could abandon Roman Reigns winning the title altogether and go with someone like Braun Strowman instead. This is due to the fact that Strowman is significantly more popular. The downside with Strowman is that he is not as versatile in the ring as Reigns is and he would need to be protected more in his matches and booking.
