Report: SmackDown Will Remain A Live Show On FOX

Fans had a lot of questions about what would happen when Fox picks up SmackDown Live in October 2019 one of which was wondering whether or not the show would remain a live broadcast or if it would be moved to being taped once again.
Most experts assumed Fox would want a live show because they are spending so much for it and it looks like that is correct.
The Wrap is reporting that SmackDown Live will stay live and that is a very good thing for everyone involved because a taped program certainly doesn’t have the same appeal as one happening live.

As previously noted, the new Fox deal for Smackdown Live and the new NBCUniversal (USA Network) deal for Raw kicks off next year.
