Crown Jewel is Still On, Bella/Cena Update, Rollins vs. Omega?

The partnership that WWE made with the nation of Saudi Arabia earlier this year was controversial right from the start. The company is now set to return to the country next month for their Crown Jewel event, but lately, there has been pressure from the US Senate calling on WWE to rethink their relationship with Saudi Arabia. WWE originally put out a statement claiming that they were “monitoring the situation” in relation to the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. In an update provided by PWInsider, the company has decided to continue on with their planned Crown Jewel event. While a change could still be made, it appears that the event will indeed still be taking place in Saudi Arabia on November 2nd.
Once again, rumors suggesting that Nikki Bella and John Cena have gotten back together have begun to surface. The two of them have reportedly been spotted together recently, but Nikki herself has just provided an answer on the matter. During a panel at the ACE Comic Con earlier this week, Bella was asked about the current status of her relationship with Cena. Nikki bluntly stated, “we’re friends, but I’m still single.” Cena has said before that he would love to get back together with Nikki and start a family with her, the latter of which he was once completely against. It may be a while until these two rekindle their romantic relationship, but it does definitely appear as if they are in the process of reconciling.
As he comes closer and closer to achieving free agent status, wrestling fans are begging to know which wrestling promotion Kenny Omega will be competing for in 2019. Although Omega could remain with New Japan Pro Wrestling, is it completely possible that he could be joining WWE next year. Interestingly, Raw Superstar Seth Rollins just mentioned at ACE Comic Con that he wants to face the IWGP Heavyweight Champion in the future. Not long after that statement was made, Omega posted a response on Twitter in which he too stated that he would like to wrestle WWE’s current Intercontinental Champion someday. Perhaps a WrestleMania match between Omega and Rollins is on the way very soon.
