Iskra Odintsovo getting stronger

Iskra Odintsovo finished 3rd in Superleague 2006/07. Odintsovo is preparing team for the next season. The goal for is only one – to be champions in Russian Superleague 2007/08

First of all Iskra Odintsovo signed contract with the MVP of World Championship 2006 and Brazilian star Giba. Giba is coming from Italian Cuneo. Second big transfer of Odintsovo is arrival of J. Schops from VfB Friedrichshafen. Schops was the principal player of German team. Due to top play of opposite Schops Friedrichshafen won Champions League. From Russian market Iskra got the best Russian libero A. Verbov from Lokomotive-Belogorie Belgorod. Odintsovo is also interested in coach Zoran Gajic, previous coach of Russian national team.
