Brazilian volleyball federation informed about the settlement with B.Rezende as a national team head coach for the next four years.

The president of the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV), Ary Graca, confirmed the contract renewal of Bernardinho in charge of Brazil until the Men's Olympic Games in London. "It's all right with the Bernardinho for another Olympic cycle. We have a great relationship and excellent results. Therefore, there is no reason to make a change".

According to Brazilian Volleyball Confederation president it was not necessary to sign the contract. "I never needed it, we have talked about everything", said Ary Graca.

After the silver medal in the Olympics in Beijing, Bernardinho said he would have to rethink the future. For now, he continue to work as a coach of the team Rio. Bernardinho confirmed the accuracy of this settlement. "We had a meeting and hit everything. It is not a contract, it is more an agreement of intent", informend Brazilian heach coach. "There is much work to be done, both in time as the main base. This is a moment of transition, many changes has to be done. We have to be calm to follow the work."

Rezende accepted the challenge of commanding the Brazilian national team in 2001. The choice could not have been better. Bernardinho has led the team to memorable victories such as gold from Olympics 2004, victories in the 2002 and 2006 World Championships and five straight World League triumphs.
