28 teams for the Men’s Champions League confirmed

Similarly to the previous year, CEV put together a group of  28 teams to participate in the Champions League 2013/2014.

15 countries, 5 wild cards, dozens of stars – Men’s Champions League is getting ready for another edition. Last time, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk took over the throne, by winning Final Four at home. Silver medal went to Bre Banca Lannutti Cuneo and the third place was taken by Zenit Kazan.

The 28 participating teams will be divided into seven preliminary pools of four with all first-ranked teams as well as the five second-ranked sides with the best score eventually advancing to the playoffs 12 to continue there their quest for Europe’s Volleyball crown.
