Amid Government Crackdown On Human Rights Lawyers, Activists, Netizens Say #MeTooUrbanNaxal

The Pune Police, on Tuesday, raided the homes of human rights lawyers, activists and academicians across the country and arrested five top activists, citing alleged links with a Maoists’ plot to assassinate prime minister Narendra Modi and Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis.

The raids took place in a total of six cities and homes of nine activists were searched. Five of them were arrested.

A renowned Telugu poet, writer and an advocate of, Varavara Rao, social activist and trade unionist Vernon Gonsalves, lawyer and professor at National Law University, Delhi, Sudha Bharadwaj, human rights activists and lawyer Arun Ferriera, and human rights activists Gautam Navlakha were arrested yesterday.Click Here: Cheap Golf Drivers
