Eibar v Real Madrid: TV channel, live stream, squad news & preview

Santiago Solari takes charge of his first game as permanent manager of Los Blancos and faces a tough trip to the the Basque Country.

Real Madrid are aiming to win a fifth straight game in all competitions on Saturday when they travel to Eibar.

The side from the Spanish capital have won all four games since the sacking of Julen Lopetegui at the end of October, and will be hoping to kick start their season after the international break.

A win for Los Blancos could move them as high as second depending on other results. Real currently sit fifth in the table after 12 games, yet surprisingly only trail leaders Barcelona by four points.

It’s the start of an extremely busy period for Madrid, who face seven matches in just 22 days before jetting off to the Club World Cup in the United Arab Emirates.

After a tough start to the season Real really need to spring into action between now and Christmas if they are to mount a serious title challenge.

Los Galacticos have suffered their worst start to a season in 17 years and earlier this campaign went on their longest goalless run in over three decades.

Yet, despite their poor form so far this season, Real are only a few points off the top and sit first in their Champions League group.

A win against Eibar would be the perfect start to Solari’s reign as permanent manager.

Los Armeros are 13th in the table having picked up 15 points from their opening 12 matches.

Eibar are one of the smaller clubs in La Liga and gained promotion to the top tier for the first time in their history in 2014.

Since then they have established themselves as a mid-table side and finished 9th and 10th in the past two seasons.

In their previous eight La Liga meetings Real have only failed to win once, in October 2016 when the sides drew 1-1.
