JTEKT Successfully Developed Bearing “EXSEV-H2” for Hydrogen-resistant Environment
JTEKT has successfully developed a bearing ” EXSEV-H2 ” which is used in hydrogen cycle pumps and other components of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles ( FCEV ) with durability and corrosion resistance as high as 10 times * 1 of the current product.
In the special environment surrounded by hydrogen, hydrogen embrittlement * 2 leads to rapid damage of bearings. The new product developed by Jettagt can prolong the service life of the bearing, and also realize the small lightweight and low friction of the parts.
With its own technical capabilities, JTEKT has improved the durability and reliability of FCEVs, and has contributed to the advancement of carbon neutrality by making full use of hydrogen fuel.
