NJPW Announcer Possibly Heading to Impact, Cornette Update

We noted last week that Impact Wrestling ring announcer Dave Penzer will not be in attendance for the upcoming Impact Wrestling TV tapings in Ottawa. Penzer noted his contract only included the last set of TV tapings, and not the Canadian dates.

According to PWInsider.com, New Japan Pro Wrestling announcer Don Callis is possibly headed to Impact Wrestling either at the November tapings or in January. Impact has reportedly not yet officially offered Callis a contract.

PWInsider is also reporting Jim Cornette will not be at the upcoming Bound for Glory PPV or at the TV tapings in Ottawa. Cornette has reportedly offered to drive to Nashville to film content writing him off TV, however it’s unknown if that will be happening.
