Titus O’Neil Says Hulk Hogan’s WWE Locker Room Apology ‘Lacked True Contrition’, Shoots Down ‘False’ Rumors
As noted, numerous websites (not ours), have been spreading a false rumor that WWE star Titus O’Neil walked out during Hulk Hogan’s speech to the WWE locker room at Extreme Rules, and O’Neil has subsequently issued the following full statement shooting down the rumors, and also responding to Hogan’s reinstatement into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Of note in the statement, O’Neil calls the rumors surrounding his alleged WWE “boycotting” “false and inaccurate.” Furthermore, O’Neil states that at no point did he make a “scene” before, during or after Hogan’s speech to the WWE locker room. O’Neil also points out that attending Hogan’s speech was mandatory for all WWE talents.
O’Neil went on to echo the “sentiments” made by his contemporaries, and the public statement issued by The New Day, feeling Hogan’s backstage apology at Extreme Rules was lacking in “true contrition, remorse and a desire to change”.
