Was This Week’s WWE Smackdown Viewership Able to Rise Following Last Week’s 2018 Low?

As noted, last week’s edition of WWE Smackdown drew its lowest viewership so far in 2018, averaging 2.293 million viewers.

This week’s edition of WWE Smackdown was pre-taped at The O2 Arena in London, England, and despite the show not airing live it was able to draw a higher number than last week’s show.

According to ShowBuzz Daily, this week’s WWE Smackdown viewership averaged 2.298 million, which although is up from last week’s number, is the second lowest number Smackdown has garnered so far this year. The show was highlighted by Carmella’s “Mellabration”, two more Money in the Bank qualifying matches, and Daniel Bryan kicking things off.

This week’s WWE Smackdown ranked #8 for the night in overall cable TV viewership.
