Shane McMahon Officially Announces WWE Championship Match For Money In The Bank

WWE SmackDown Live Commissioner, Shane McMahon has officially announced a WWE Championship match for the upcoming Money In The Bank PPV.

Shane confirmed on Twitter today that AJ Styles will defend his WWE Championship one more time against Shinsuke Nakamura following the two controversial finishes at the Greatest Royal Rumble and Backlash.

In his tweet, Shane stated that every fan is looking for a clear and definitive winner between Styles and Nakamura and therefore he is making it official that they will go one on one again at the next WWE PPV.

Styles defeated Nakamura at WrestleMania 34, which led to Shinsuke’s heel turn, but since then there hasn’t been a clean finish. Their Greatest Royal Rumble match ended in a double count-out whilst their most recent bout at Backlash saw neither man meet the 10 count inside the ring.
