7/2 WWE Smackdown Viewership Dips But Retakes Top Spot on Cable Tuesday Night

The July 2nd edition of Smackdown Live was watched by 1.89 million viewers, down just 1.6% from last week but largely keeping in line with viewership trends as of late.

The more important news is that WWE was once again #1on cable television for Tuesday night, doing a 0.56 rating in adults 18-48. Another good night for the USA Network, as Chrisley Knows Best came in at #2 immediately following Smackdown, and the network had the target demographic locked down for three solid hours.

While numbers could certainly be better, Smackdown Live remains WWE’s most consistent show from week to week. Out of the 11 episodes since the end of the show’s barely noticeable WrestleMania season boost, the total spread from least watched to most watched show is less than 250,000 viewers.
