WWE SmackDown video highlights: Fans are back

In-person fans made their return as WWE headed back on the road starting with last night’s SmackDown at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

A brief appearance by Vince McMahon kicked off the episode, with him jokingly asking where the hell the fans have been.

Finn Balor made his return to the main roster for the first time since 2019. Balor interrupted Sami Zayn last night and laid Zayn out when Zayn tried to attack him.

Last night’s SmackDown was also the go-home show for Sunday’s Money in the Bank pay-per-view. In last night’s opening match, Roman Reigns & The Usos teamed up against Edge & The Mysterios. The main event saw SmackDown’s men’s Money in the Bank ladder match participants (Big E, Kevin Owens, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Seth Rollins) face off in a fatal four-way match.

Plus, a SmackDown Women’s Championship match took place as Bianca Belair put her title on the line against Carmella.
