WWE NXT ratings up for week two on Tuesday nights

Last night’s NXT averaged 841,000 viewers on the USA Network, up 4.5 percent from last week’s Tuesday debut.

In the 18-49 demo, NXT drew a 0.23 rating, also up 4.5 percent from last week. The show finished 27th in 18-49 on the cable charts last night. That’s far lower than last week due to news coverage of the Derek Chauvin verdict taking up much of the cable charts, but it’s a good sign for NXT that it was up despite the significant competition.

The other demo categories were remarkably similar to last week. All were either the same or slightly up:

Women 18-49: 0.19 (same as last week)
Men 18-49: 0.27 (up 3.9 percent)
People 18-34: 0.10 (same as last week)
Females 12-34: 0.09 (up 12.5 percent)
Males 12-34: 0.15 (up 7.1 percent)
People 25-54: 0.27 (same as last week)
People over 50: 0.41 (up 2.5 percent)

Year-over-year, NXT was up 26.5 percent in overall audience and up 27.8 percent in 18-49. Of course, that comparison is to when NXT was going head-to-head with AEW Dynamite.

In the other categories, NXT was up 26.7 percent year-over-year with women 18-49, up 22.7 percent with men 18-49, even with people 18-34, down 18.2 percent with females 12-34, up 150 percent with males 12-34, up 28.6 percent with people 25-54, and up 20.6 percent with people over 50.

Here’s a look at the last 11 weeks of viewership and key demos for NXT, along with the 10-week averages prior to this week (NXT didn’t crack the cable top 50 on February 10, so not all categories are available for that episode):
