Roman Reigns On What He Proved At WrestleMania, Big Show & More
Roman Reigns was Michael Cole’s guest on this week’s WWE.com sitdown interview. Reigns spoke about how his match at WrestleMania against Brock Lesnar changed him, Big Show’s recent attacks on him and more. Here’s a recap:
– Cole asked Reigns about the WrestleMania 31 main event and how it affected him. Reigns says he’s a different person now after surviving the biggest fight of his life. He got taken to Suplex city but he’s one of the few guys who survived. He showed the world he can take a beating and keep asking for more.
– Reigns spoke about Big Show attacking him on Monday’s RAW from London. He said he’s still not fully recovered from WrestleMania, so he really felt the beatdown. Getting chokeslammed onto a taxi cab is as painful as it sounds. He doesn’t feel great at the moment, but he continues to march forward. Reigns says Big Show’s goal is to make him the biggest failure in WWE history – which he chalks up to jealousy. He’s not going anywhere and Big Show will have to deal with that.
– Cole brought up how Reigns is fighting for his family and his legacy. Reigns says this is his life, he’s been part of the WWE family his whole life and now he’s sitting at the head of the table. He beats people up on a weekly basis to feed his people and make name for himself. Not even a giant is going to get in the way of that.
– Reigns isn’t worried about Big Show. Big Show needs to work on his cardio – cause he’s going to keep bringing the fight to him. Believe that.
