Karl Anderson vs. Chris Sabin set for this week’s Impact
A new match has been announced for Impact on Tuesday.
The company announced on social media that Karl Anderson would be facing one half of the Motor City Machine Guns, Chris Sabin.
“First time ever vs. @SuperChrisSabin. Tomorrow night 8 pm EST #IMPACTonAXSTV @IMPACTWRESTLING #TheMachineGunIsBack.” Anderson wrote on Twitter.
The match comes following a segment that aired during Final Resolution between Anderson, Don Callis, and Kenny Omega. Anderson met Omega in his private bus and reminisced about their days in the Bullet Club. Omega inspired Anderson to bring back the ‘Machine Gun’ of old, citing his finals performance against Kazuchika Okada at the G1 Climax tournament back in 2012.
Anderson proceeded to defeat Ethan Page in a singles match later on in the show. The storyline had been that Page had injured Gallows, putting him out of action for 4-5 weeks. If Page had won, The North would have received a Tag Team title match.
The Good Brothers won the titles back at Turning Point on November 14, defeating The North.
