Update: Sasha Banks' Injury Not As Bad As WWE Originally Feared

Unlike Finn Balor, who was forced to relinquish his title due to an injury that will keep him on the shelf for at least six months, Sasha Banks, who dropped the title to Charlotte at SummerSlam for an injury of her own, is not expected to be out of action as long.

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com is reporting that Banks’ injury will not require surgery, and because of that, she will not be on the sidelines as long as WWE had originally feared.

Banks’ injury, which is a back issue, is reportedly not a result of any one match or incident. Instead, it was a situation where she had been dealing with lower back pain for a while and finally needed to take some time off.
