WWE SmackDown Live Viewership (1/23): Numbers Drop Heading Into Royal Rumble
The Tuesday, January 23rd episode of WWE SmackDown Live finished with an average of 2.580 million viewers on the USA Network, according to figures released by the folks at ShowbuzzDaily.com.

By comparison, last week’s episode of SmackDown Live finished with an average of 2.602 million viewers.
The news would have to be considered a disappointment considering the fact that the show was not only following the most-watched episode of RAW in years for RAW 25 on Monday, but because it was also the “go-home” (final) episode of the show heading into Sunday’s WWE Royal Rumble 2018 pay-per-view. Traditionally, the Royal Rumble is the second biggest annual show on the WWE pay-per-view calendar, as well as the first of the new year.
