WWE's Erik undergoes surgery to remove 'some hardware' from arm
With his tag team partner out of action, Erik (Raymond Rowe) of The Viking Raiders has also undergone surgery.
Erik announced on social media today that he underwent surgery to remove “some hardware” from his arm. Erik wrote that he’s been putting off the surgery for a very long time.
“Today I had some hardware removed from my cyborg arm, Erik wrote. “I’ve been putting off this surgery for a very long time and just worked around and thru the pain and limitations caused by a surgical screw protruding into my triceps. For the last several years I’ve been fighting and training with one arm tied behind my back. Thanks to the wonderful Dr Dugas, I’m excited to come back at full strength. I’ll see you guys real soon.”
Ivar (Todd Smith) of The Viking Raiders underwent neck surgery last month after suffering a cervical injury during an eight-man tag match on Raw. On September 24, Ivar wrote a post-surgery update, “Little over a week post surgery, the road to recovery has begun!!! I can’t say Thank you enough to everyone for all the love and support, it has been unbelievably humbling. Better, Stronger, Healthier here I come!”
Erik was in singles action on last week’s episode of Main Event. He lost to Riddick Moss on the show.
