205 Live Report – 12/21/16

We start off with a look at what happened at Roadblock, including Neville joining the Cruiserweight Division.  We also see what caused tonight’s main event.
We are in Detroit, Michigan and your announcers are Austin Aries, Corey Graves, and Mauro Ranallo.
Match Number One:  Ariya Daivari versus Lince Dorado

They lock up and Daivari with a wrist lock and Dorado with handsprings around the ring.  Dorado with an arm wringer followed by a wrist lock.  Daivari with a hammer lock.  Dorado with a snap mare and rana.  Dorado is sent to the aprona nd he goes up top but Daivari moves.  Daivari sends Dorado to the mat and he hits a neck breaker for a near fall.  Daivari punches Dorado. Dorado punches Daivari and follows with an Irish whip but he misses a running drop kick.  Dorado lands on his feet but Daivari with a clothesline for a near fall.  Daivari with a knee to the back followed by a reverse chin lock.
Daivari adds more pressure to the chin lock.  Dorado with a punch and Daivari with a forearm.  Daivari misses a splash into the corner and Dorado wtih punches and a flying forearm.  Dorado with a chop and kick.  Dorado with a handspring cutter and Daivari goes to the floor.  Dorado with a plancha.  Dorado sends Daivari back into the ring and Dorado with a cross body.  Dorado with a rana off the turnbuckles for a near fall.  Dorado blocks a kick and Dorado with an enzuigiri.  Dorado goes for a Frankensteiner but Daivari pushes him off.  Dorado runs into a boot and Daivari with a frog splash for the three count.
Winner:  Ariya Daivari
After the match, Daivari is interviewed and he says you turn a blind eye to Jack Gallagher because he entertains people.  The truth is that Jack Gallagher is not a gentleman, he is a scoundrel.

Neville is in the locker room and Brian Kendrick enters.  Kendrick says he is happy to have Neville here on 205 Live.  Neville says he respects Brian’s accomplishments and they built the foundation for this show.  He says that he is Brian’s partner tonight and not his friend.  There is only room for one King of the Cruiserweights.
Corey Graves suggests we may see some familiar faces in coming weeks.

Match Number Two:  Cedric Alexander (with Alicia Fox) versus Drew Gulak
They lock up and Alexander with a hammer lock into a wrist lock.  Gulak kicks Cedric away.  Alexander with a wrist lock and chop followed by a European uppercut.  Alexander with a hammer lock and he gets a near fall.  Alexander with an uppercut and chop but Gulak with a forearm.  Alexander with a leaping forearm and slap to Gulak.  Alexander with punches and the referee pulls Alexander away.  Gulak sends Alexander into the ropes and then Gulak with kicks to Alexander’s back.  Gulak with a forearm to the back and a head butt to the midsection.  Alexander tries for a sunset flip but Gulak drives a knee to the back of the head.
Gulak with a rear chin lock.  Gulak with an Irish whip but Cedric sends Gulak to the mat with a double stomp.  Alexander with a handspring round kick and then Cedric goes to the apron for a springboard clothesline and he gets a near fall.  Alexander sets for a Lumbar Check but Gulak lands on his feet and he connects with an elbow.  Gulak sets for a suplex but Alexander blocks it.  Alexander with a suplex and both men go over the top rope to the floor.
Gulak pushes Alexander into Fox and Gulak with a head butt to the midsection.  Gulak kicks Alexander in the corner.
Noam Dar makes his way to the ring to check on Alicia.
Gulak with more kicks as Dar helps Alicia up and to the back.  Alexander with a back heel kick and Gulak gets a near fall with a rollup.  Alexander hits the Lumbar Check for the three count.
Winner:  Cedric Alexander
After the match, Alexander follows Dar and Fox to the back.
Drew Gulak is stopped by Dasha and she asks him about what went wrong.  Drew says that Alicia Fox is what went wrong.  He says women do not belong on 205 Live.
We go to a video package for Jack Gallagher.
We see Alicia Fox getting her ankle iced and Cedric enters the room.  He asks Alicia how she is doing and Alicia asks him if he won his match.  Alicia thanks Noam for being there.  Cedric thanks Noam and then Noam says that if Alicia ever needs anything to let him know.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Three:  Neville and Brian Kendrick versus TJ Perkins and Rich Swann
Neville and Swann start things off.  Neville with a foreamr to the head and he kicks Swann.  Neville sends Swann into the turnbuckles and then snap mares Swann and hits a drop kick to the back of the head.  Neville sends Swann into the turnbuckles and kicks the champion.  Neville kicks Swann in the head and he says something to Swann before stomping on the back of the head.  Neville with a rear chin lock.  Neville with a forearm to send Swann back to the mat.  Neville with sets for a suplex and he hits a delayed vertical suplex and he gets a near fall.  Neville with a running forearm into the corner.  Neville gets a near fall.
Neville rakes the eyes and the referee warns Neville.  Neville kicks Swann in the corner and chokes him with his boot.  Swann with a slap and Perkins makes the blind tag but Neville with a back elbow to Swann.  Perkins with a cross body and punches to Neville.  Neville with a front face lock and Kendrick tags in and connects with forearms to the back.  Kendrick tells Neville to go to the apron while Kendrick connects with an elbow.  Kendrick with a side head lock and punches.  Perkins with a spinning back kick but Perkins runs into a boot.  Kendrick goes for Sliced Bread #2 but Kendrick is crotched and placed in the tree of woe for a hesitation drop kick and a near fall.
Perkins with a slam and slingshot senton for a near fall.  Perkins with a suplex and he goes for a second one but Kendrick gets to his feet and he hits a leg lariat.  Swann tags himself in and Kendrick kicks Swann.  Kendrick with forearms.  Swann with punches but Kendrick neutralizes Swann.  Swann with a flurry and he hits a series of clotheslines.  Swann with a back heel kick and he misses the double stomp.  Kendrick with a Flatliner and Neville tags in and he hits a deadlift German suplex for a near fall.  Neville runs into a boot and Swann with punches.
Neville flips over Swann but Swann with a super kick for a near fall.  Swann gets to his feet first but Neville with a clothesline.  Kendrick and Perkins tag in and Perkins avoids a kick and Perkins with strikes and kicks.  Perkins with a double underhook into a face buster and he gets a near fall.  Perkins gets Kendrick on the shoulders but Kendrick escapes.  Perkins with a Detonation Kick and Perkins applies the knee bar.  Neville with a drop kick to the head.  Swann tags ina nd he hits the round kick on Neville.  Kendrick goes for a suplex but Swann lands on his feet and Perkins and Swann with a double super kick.  Swann with a near fall.  Perkins kicks Neville off the apron but he misses the springboard drop kick.  Neville with a kick to Perkins.
Kendrick sends Swann into the turnbuckles and he hits Sliced Bread #2 and applies the Captain’s Hook.  Perkins kicks Neville away and makes the save.  Neville sends Perkins to the floor and Neville tags in.  Neville stands over Swann and kicks him in the back of the head.  Neville asks if this is it.  Neville runs into a forearm.  Swann runs into a back heel kick.  Swann slaps Neville and Perkins comes off the turnbuckles but Neville with an enzuigiri.  Kendrick with a suicide dive on Swann.
Neville pulls Perkins into the corner and Neville goes up top.  Neville looks around and he hits Red Arrow for the three count.
Winner:  Brian Kendrick and Neville
