ROH Star Spotted at NXT Tapings, Jarrett Teases New Impact Debut

According to Wrestle Inc., a former Ring of Honor star could be debuting at tonight’s set of NXT tapings. It looks as though former ROH World Tag Team Champion Bobby Fish was spotted entering Full Sail University earlier today along with NXT producer Ryan Katz. Fish is 37-years-old and has been wrestling since 2002. He has wrestled in multiple promotions, most famously ROH, where he became a three time tag team champion in the promotion with fellow free agent Kyle O’Reilly. No word on if O’Reilly will be joining his partner in NXT. Whether he debuts tonight or not, sources say that Fish is definitely backstage for tonight’s tapings.
Tonight WWE will be holding a very special round of NXT tapings, as it will include a few very important milestones for the show. It is going to hold a Last Woman Standing match between Nikki Cross and Asuka. They will also be taping a historic 400th episode of NXT, which will be headlined by an NXT Championship match between Roderick Strong and Bobby Roode. It is also going to be where Mauro Ranallo will make his re-debut with WWE in his new role as an NXT announcer. Whether Fish, or anybody else shows up as well, is just an added bonus to an already packed set of tapings for tonight. The first show from the tapings tonight will feature the Last Woman Standing match, and it will be streaming on the WWE Network next week.
In other news, Jeff Jarrett has teased a special debut of his own for Impact’s upcoming Slammiversary pay-per-view. Jarrett goes on to promise that the show just got bigger and better, and that it will involve the “most powerful resident of Orlando.” Perhaps we will soon be figuring out who this mystery person is, but no details have been shared as of yet.
