Reason Rousey Was Booked Into Tag Matches, News On WWE Stock

The reason why the WWE switched up the scheduled singles matches for Ronda Rousey into six-women tag team matches is simply because the company didn’t feel as if she was ready to face Mickie James in singles competition. Rousey was generally in the match for about a minute in each of the matches but is supposed to resume training for her match against Nia Jax this week now that she is back in North America.
There are already figures submitted on how much Vince McMahon has technically lost on the XFL even before it starts. Last year, Vince McMahon put $100M of his own money into the XFL. He did that by selling 3,340,000 shares last Dec 20, 2017 at $28.68 per share for a value of $95,791,200.
With WWE stock closing today at $57.86, had those shares still been invested in WWE, they would be worth $193,252,400. That is a missed opportunity of $97,461,200. One could argue that the XFL has already cost Vince close to $100M in just 5 months before it’s even started.
