J Robinson’s agent says U hiding truth; second investigation to begin
After issuing a statement late Monday night disputing allegations that J Robinson tried to self-police a drug problem within his University of Minnesota wrestling team, Robinson’s agent turned up the heat on university leadership Tuesday.
“I have no further comment until the University starts telling the truth about what it knows,” Robinson’s agent, James C.W. Bock, wrote in a text message to the Star Tribune.
University President Eric Kaler was not made available for comment Tuesday regarding Bock’s statement, which calls into question the school’s own role. In an e-mail Tuesday, a university spokesman added: “There will be no detailed updates or interviews while there is an investigation because there simply isn’t anything further that we can share.” Continue reading at www.startribune.com
