Roman Reigns Spotted Again, WWE Extending Injured Wrestler Deals
It appears that WWE Superstar Roman Reigns has been spotted in public once again. Reigns has mostly managed to keep a relatively low profile ever since he announced that he would be taking time off from the ring to battle leukemia late last year. Both wrestling fans and wrestlers alike are hoping to see the former Universal Champion overcome the disease and return to the ring at some point in the future. Naturally, whenever Reigns is spotted out in the open these days, it can provide a small update on his health and general well-being. “The Big Dog” resurfaced earlier this week, but yesterday, he reemerged once again and even posed for a photo with retired professional boxer Joseph Parker.
Former WBO Heavyweight Champion Joseph Parker uploaded an image of himself with the former world champion on Twitter yesterday. Based on the photo, Reigns appears to be doing well at the moment and is keeping his spirits up. Aside from photos of appearances that Roman occasionally makes, there have been occasional updates from close friends like Seth Rollins and Chris Jericho. Both have said that they keep in touch with Reigns regularly, and that he is recovering rather nicely right now. When Reigns announced that he’s be leaving to fight leukemia, he vowed to defeat the disease and return to the ring. Be sure to stay tuned for all of the latest updates and developments relating to Roman Reigns’ health.

Several WWE Superstars reportedly asked for their releases not too long ago, but they were all said to be denied by the company. Mike Kanellis, Maria Kanellis, The Revival, and likely others are rumored to be looking to leave WWE soon. Instead, WWE is likely choosing to keep their talent under contract in order to avoid the chance of them going to a rival promotion for as long as possible. According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the company has actually begun extending the length of WWE contracts for performers who are injured. The report claims that WWE is adding dates to talent contracts for each day that they miss due to injuries or any other circumstances that may keep them out of action.
