The Usos vs. Hardys Tag Team title match set for WWE SmackDown
After not being involved in the championship match at WrestleMania 35, The Hardys will get their shot at the SmackDown Tag Team titles tonight.
The Usos defending their titles against The Hardys has been announced for tonight’s post-WrestleMania episode of SmackDown. This will be the first time the teams have faced each other.
At WrestleMania, The Usos retained their titles by defeating Cesaro & Sheamus, Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev, and Ricochet & Aleister Black in a fatal four-way match. Sheamus was pinned after The Usos gave him a double-team superkick and splashes off the top rope.
Matt and Jeff Hardy were both in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania. They were eliminated by Braun Strowman near the end of the match, with Strowman then eliminating Saturday Night Live’s Michael Che and Colin Jost to win.
WWE closes out five straight days in New York/New Jersey as the Barclays Center in Brooklyn hosts tonight’s SmackDown. The New Day celebrating Kofi Kingston’s WWE Championship win is also advertised for the episode.
