Boston Based janji Sponsors Olympic Trials Hopeful

hopeful signed by Boston-based running apparel company, Janji.
(BOSTON, MA)- On October 12th,
Janji, the first socially conscious running apparel company, signed Pardon Ndhlovu and became his official sponsor as he
trains for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. This is NdhlovuÛªs first
sponsorship and JanjiÛªs first ever signing of an Olympic Marathon hopeful.
After graduating from the University of North
Carolina at Pembroke in May 2013, Ndhlovu became the assistant
cross country and track coach for the Georgia Regents University. His
partnership with Janji means running for a greater cause: with every purchase
of Janji apparel, the company donates 6 months to 3 years of clean water to a
developing country around the world.
ÛÏThrough JanjiÛªs high performance apparel,
runners fund solutions and raise awareness for the global water crisis in a
lasting and meaningful way,Û Ndhlovu said. ÛÏRather than racing for a cause on
just one day, Janji lets runners give back through their everyday training.Û
Ndhlovu hopes to run for Zimbabwe, his home
country, in the Olympics. After finishing college, he ran 2:18:12, missing the
Olympic B Standard by 13 seconds. Ndhlovu aims to run 2:15 at the Chevron
Houston Marathon this January, which would place him below the Olympic A
Standard.
