A Dalit Man Was Punished To Lick His Own Spit, As His Son Married Different Community’s Girl

In a shocking incident, a 44 -year-old Dalit man in Bulandshahr’s Sonda Habibpur village was summoned by a local panchayat and forced to lick his own spit as punishment after his son married a girl from another community.

In his police complaint, Shree Krishna, 44, alleged that he was assaulted, made to lick his own spit and threatened of rape of the women in his family in a panchayat on Tuesday.
