Amy Poehler’s New Network TV Gig Sounds Hilarious
Amy Poehler may be headed back into TV comedy—or at least her voice is.
The Parks and Recreation alum will voice multiple characters in a prospective animated series for Fox, EW has confirmed.
The show revolves around the family and friends of a 15-year-old named Duncan Harris, “an average kid with dreams of being a UFC fighter, tech billionaire, video game champ, or any job where you make a ton of money and don’t have to wear a tie.”
The untitled project reunites her with Parks and Rec producer Mike Scully, who’s also a longtime producer on The Simpsons. Scully will write the script with his wife, Julie Scully (also of The Simpsons), and Fox has ordered a pilot presentation. Poehler will serve as an executive producer alongside the two Scullys.

She is an executive producer of Comedy Central’s Broad City and Hulu’s Difficult People, as well as The Handmade Project, a yet-to-be-scheduled NBC crafts competition series that she also will host with Parks castmate Nick Offerman, and the in-development HBO musical comedy Edison.
